Made in Spain: Fashion, Craft & Creative Icons in Madrid

Step into Madrid’s quiet luxury scene, where heritage meets bold creativity, and craftsmanship is a cultural language.

This isn’t a shopping tour.

It’s a curated immersion into Spanish identity through design, a way to understand, feel, and connect with the people and processes shaping the country’s most elegant expression.

You’ll walk away with the insider context to recognize true Spanish artistry, so that as you shop, travel, or explore, you’ll see it all through a deeper, more local lens.

On this 2-hour guided style walk through the Salamanca neighborhood, Madrid’s most elegant district, we’ll step inside four handpicked spaces that all focus on craft, design, sustainability, & are Made in Spain:

  • Stop 1: A quiet concept shop that displays one-of-a-kind textiles for the home, made from raw silk, natural alpaca wool, and botanical dyes.  All are made on traditional looms in a workshop beside a 13th-century abbey in Segovia.  Heritage and artistry meet understated luxury.
  • Stop 2: A private visit inside the atelier and shop of one of Spain’s most legendary designers.  It’s impossible not to leave with a smile on your face as every object – from runway gowns to dog clothes – bursts with color and joy.  This is where fashion defies rules and radiates soul.
  • Stop 3:  A beautifully designed Spanish leather shop beloved by Madrid’s chicest insiders.  Here you’ll discover their sculptural bags and signature hues – crafted with care in the south of Spain, and styled by Madrid’s best dressed.  They are as transparent and sustainable as they are cool.
  • Stop 4: A visit to Casa LOEWE, the fashion house’s flagship to not only see the latest collection and “pop in” displays, but also its architecture, contemporary art, and learn all about the LOEWE Foundation’s global commitment to craft and culture.

At the end, you’ll receive a short guide with a map to more “Made in Spain” shops in the Salamanca neighborhood to continue your experience.
